Arlington Countryside Church

ACC’s youth ministries were growing larger than the Sunday services. The staff was expanding, but were constrained by the facilities. There were many needed repairs. The sanctuary was undersized and did not work well with their method of worship. The building had seven levels, most of which were not accessible. The primary entry was hidden from view, even from the front of the parking lot. Only the initiated understood the layout.

CBC developed a plan to bring the primary entrance front and center to the parking lot, with a large lobby to serve as a central hub and fellowship space. The gymnasium was expanded and the room was converted to a multiuse contemporary sanctuary and gymnasium. CBC added a large stage and back of house space, as well as generous entry between the new hub and the sanctuary. Additionally, CBC renovated restrooms and developed a segregated children’s area.
